Item number 322 is a mythological bird form made out of a lowfire white earthenware clay body. The bird form is hand made hand built and hand burnished. The piece is hand painted free hand using black and blue underglazes, electric kiln fired. The bird form is connected the origin story of the Navajo people and the animals that are part of this narrative, bird form also represent messengers within the Pueblo culture.
