Item #321 is a small mythological bird form, the piece is hand made hand built using a lowfire earthenware clay body and is hand burnished. The item is hand painted free hand using a black and green underglazes, electric kiln fired. The bird form represents the animals that are connected to the Navajo origin story and are messengers between the mortal being and the spirits and deities.
