Untitled medium sized round form, Item #286 is a round closed form inspired from the traditional seed jar forms from the Pueblo people of the southwest. The piece is hand coiled and hand built non wheel thrown. It is hand burnished and hand painted free hand using black and green underglazes, electric kiln fired. This item was made using mined natural native clay, there were small little impurities/stones in the clay that rose to the surface during the firing process leaving small white markings.
